I-20 in both directions: Road construction.

Between Exit 55: US 80 (2 miles east of the Dubberly area) and Exit 69: LA 151 (near Arcadia). Road construction work is in progress. A lane is closed intermittently. From 8:00PM CDT to 7:00AM CDT on Fridays and Saturdays and from 8:00PM CDT to 5:00AM CDT on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on beginning during the week of Monday, April 9, 2018, there will be a series of nighttime lane closures along I-20 eastbound and westbound in Bienville Parish.
These shoulder closures are necessary to allow for the installation of new pavement markings (striping) on the interstate. Work is anticipated to last approximately 1-2 months, weather permitting.
The closures will be allowed during the following times:
Sunday – Thursday: 8:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
Friday – Saturday: 8:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Alternate Route: N/A
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
